Eyelid Ptosis (Drooping)
Eyelid ptosis refers to drooping of the upper eyelid, which can affect one or both eyes and may impair vision or create a tired, asymmetrical appearance. It can be congenital or develop over time due to aging, muscle weakness, nerve issues, or prior surgery. Treatment depends on the underlying cause and severity and may include observation, medical management, or surgical correction. Blepharoplasty or a brow lift can help with eyelid drooping and in certain cases can be covered by insurance.
