Causes include genetics, stress, strep throat infection, and sunburn are a few common causes. It can affect the skin, scalp, nails, and joints and often follows a relapsing course. Treatment is individualized based on severity and may include topical or oral medications, phototherapy, systemic agents, or biologic therapies.
