Microneedling

Microneedling uses numerous small needles to impress small holes into the skin to stimulate collagen growth and improve the appearance of the skin. Multiple sessions are recommended and can be applied to treat wrinkles, scars, and melasma. While microneedling itself alone helps with improving the quality of the skin, it also creates channels in the skin to assist with drug delivery to add benefit to the treatment. Combination with topical application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), exosomes, Sculptra, steroids, and tranexamic acid are some examples of drugs used in combination with microneedling to amplify results.
