Photodynamic Therapy

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a targeted treatment that combines a photosensitizing medication with a specific wavelength of light to selectively destroy abnormal skin cells. It is frequently used for actinic keratoses and certain superficial skin cancers while preserving surrounding healthy tissue.
